AIMS REIT engaged KED Energy Pte Ltd (KED) to install high-performance DC fast chargers at selected locations within their property portfolio. The goal was to provide convenient and efficient charging solutions to cater to the growing number of electric vehicle (EV) owners among tenants and visitors while supporting AIMS REIT’s sustainability objectives.

The project covered four strategic locations within AIMS REIT’s properties, with a mix of 60kW and 120kW DC fast chargers deployed across these sites. The chargers were placed at prominent business and industrial parks, ensuring accessibility for EV owners in the area.

• 8 & 10 Pandan Crescent – 1x120kW DC fast charger

• 10 Changi South – 1x60kW DC fast charger

• Northtech 29 Woodlands Industrial Park E1 – 1x60kW DC fast charger.

KED collaborated with AIMS REIT’s facilities management team to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the selected sites. Factors considered included foot traffic, power availability, parking space, and ease of access. This analysis ensured that the chosen locations would maximize charger utilization and convenience for EV owners.

Leveraging its expertise in EV charging infrastructure, KED managed the end-to-end installation process, including equipment procurement, site preparation, electrical setup, and installation of DC fast chargers. The chargers were strategically installed in high-visibility parking areas to facilitate easy access and meet the anticipated demand from tenants and visitors.

Before the official launch, KED conducted rigorous testing to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and reliability. The chargers were integrated with KED’s proprietary charging management system, allowing real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and efficient management of power usage.

The successful launch of EV charging sites at AIMS REIT properties highlights the effectiveness of strategic partnerships in advancing sustainability goals. By collaborating with KED, AIMS REIT was able to enhance its property offerings, support EV adoption, and strengthen its reputation as a green and innovative real estate investment trust.
