The Singapore Chinese Cultural Center EV Charger Case Study
Chinese Singaporean arts and cultural exhibits housed within a contemporary expression of traditional Chinese architecture
Overview
The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) located in Shenton Way area collaborates with arts and cultural groups, working with community partners to promote and develop local Chinese culture. KED Energy Pte Ltd was awarded the contract to install, operate, and maintain one DC 60 kW and two AC 22 kW electric vehicle charging stations for SCCC, powered by the Noodoe App.
Challenges and Solutions
We began installation of this landmark project after several months of planning and discussion. The cable pulling began in the first week of September 2022. One of the difficulties encountered was the process of pulling heavy and thick cables through four levels of the car park as the main electrical distribution box is located on level one. The installation was completed within a week, thanks to our competent electrical engineering team. The charging stations were made available to the public on 1 October 2022.
